We are so happy for little Beckers and Tyler!! They are so happy they have been inseperable for the last 3 months. They got engaged just two days ago. Beck turned 1 in Oct. & Mae is now 3 and still not potty trained & yes she did so good at the age of 2 1/2 she had the desire did great from diapers to underwear then a few months later completely changed her mind. I swear I tired everything from nice... super nice .... to mean I gave up and am now waiting for her to have the desire again!!! Sorry thats my potty training frustration.. Officer Down: Police Officer Shane Figueroa Officer Down: Police Officer Shane Figueroa - [Phoenix, Arizona]

Age: 25
Cause of Death: Automobile accident
Police Officer Shane Figueroa was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a call.
Officer Figueroa was northbound on 19th Avenue near Roeser Road responding to a shots fired call when a truck turned in front of his patrol car. The impact spun the patrol car and sent it into a block wall. The officer was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
The truck driver had four outstanding warrants and was arrested on manslaughter and aggravated assault charges. A passenger in the truck was seriously injured.
Officer Figueroa had served the Phoenix Police Department for more than two years. He is survived by his wife and a 3-month-old child.

The wait is finally over. I say finally because we knew we were going to decorate her room and plan for the shower about 6 months ago. So my brain would only think of ideas for her room and her shower. Lets just say pink John Deere is done. Now I can give my brain a rest until the next thing. We decorated little Reagan's room on Friday the day before her shower. Cass knew we were decorating her room for her gift. She would call us all that week to ask why we didn't have it done yet. It was so funny!!! Then when we did it she said that she knew it was going to be Friday( the day we did it) because of her intuition. She is such a dork. I was thinking she knew because her shower was the next day(: and we said we would have it done before her shower. We love you Cas!! Keep that intuition going!! Beck is such a trooper. He is always so happy. You can always get a smile out of him. He started to crawl on all fours instead of his lovely army crawl. Which I love it keeps him cleaner. He is now 10 1/2 months and has been through so much. A few of his memerable 1st:

A much needed girls trip happened. How nice it was to be away for a weekend and relax and shop. It was so fun even if we just went to Scottsdale istead of Cali. (: On this trip it was fun getting to know each other better. Sometimes a little to much info was given though .......Jenny. HEHEH! So many new things to hold against my girls now. We went up to Utah for a reunion. I finally got to meet some of the Haslams that I never had. It was so much fun and the weather was beautiful even a little chilly at night and in the morning. I even got a cold I guess thats what happens when you live in the desert. Sad I know. Here are some pics. Oh and in some of the pics we have dirt on our faces. We had 19 quads and then the rhino. Lets just say dust everywhere. It was so fun yet so dirty.

Above is my brother Scott & Amber Stoker's newest addition Eric he is about a month old. He looks so cute and long from the pictures I've seen. I can't wait to hold him. This is their 4th. Thats right all boys too. We love you. Hope all is well over in Texas. I wish I could be there to help you guys and to see him like I got to with little Dyllan(pickles). This is Gage my sister in law Jamie & Rahn Jensen's newest member. So sweet. He is 2 months old. That makes number 3. They have their hands full with three boys. Everytime I see him he is such a happy baby.

WELCOME HOME ELDER!!!

Mark returned from his mission on May 1st. He served in Paris, France. Is is so much fun to have at home again. He is such a sweet man. We love you Uncle Marker!!!( Thats how MaeLyn would say his name)

My father in law turned 60!!

I love you Bruce. He is the sweetest, most thoughtful, loving, befriending(he always talks to strangers) man. I see a lot of Nate in him. He is such good natured. I love that he loves his Harleys and he would do anything to ride. He is a die hard. I know that is some of Nate's best memories is riding with his dad. Bruce has to have 3 motorcycles so his boys can go on rides with him. He is the best. I love you and hope you enjoyed your 60th suprise party that we celebrated with your friends and family all the people that love you to death.

With everything that has happened this past month I truely believe IF IT DOESNT RAIN THEN YOU DONT GROW!!!! I could have never of done this on my own. I am so grateful for all the family we had jump right in to help watch and take care of our daughter, MaeLyn. As well as those of you that came and relieved me from my days at the hospital( I'll tell you that place will make you go crazy, always in and out. I wont even go there!). Those who came to visit and bring food. Most of all, all of your thoughts and prayers that were with us. We love you all and are so grateful for everyone!! We are so glad to have our healthy family back. It is so good to be home there is no place like home!

After waiting an hour or 2 we were sent on ambulance to Gateway hospital from urgent care. Then after being at Gateway for 5 hours or so Beck was AirVac to Banner Desert Hospital. He was intabated and sadated (sp?)for 5 days so grand total was 6 days in the ICU and 6 days in recovery. Beck had the flu with RSV. Poor guy like one of those wasnt bad enough. We are so grateful Beck is such a fighter and with us today. WE LOVE YOU BECK!!!!!

My sister Cassie just had surgery. She had endomitryosis so they went in and lazered it off. She is now suppose to be able to get pregnant. After a long while of not knowing what was wrong, the problem is now suppose to be fixed. She has been through constant mixed emotions as you can imagine. She is a tough women and a great example to me. We want her to know we love her and we are here for you Cass. We cannot wait till you get better. MaeLyn helped me color this sign since (MaeLyn) cant see you! ( she loves Aunt CaKi and would want to jump all over her.)

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I know we did. I love Christmas we put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving and it came down the day after Christmas. What a perfect time to reflect upon the savior and his sacrfice for us and to spend time with family. Which we did a lot of.

My mom has a tradition to give all the grand kids pjs on Christmas Eve. Since Mae is the only girl so far she got stuck with boy pjs but she didn't mind.

My Favorite time is to walk into my moms house and see this. This is what happens when you have such a large family. Sorry mom we love you and we know it is a lot of work. We don't have any pictures from Nate's Family because the camera battery died. We went up to Pine with his family they have a cabin there it was freezing but we had a blast two days of Christmas we celebrated it on Wednesday with his family. What more could you ask for.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me through out the last two weeks as I have been recovering. The babysitting that has been done, the cleaning, the shopping and the dinners that were brought. I am so grateful for all the family that we have so close and their willingness to help. Especially thanks to my mom, sister, and of course my hubby. I Love you all so very much.

MaeLyn has been so sweet with her baby brother. Its funny to see the motherly intuition at such a young age. I was nervous at first on how she would handle not having all of the attention or if she would be jealous but she has been so good with Beck. She is so soft with him, she loves to give him his bottle, she will put his pacifier in his mouth, cover him with his blanket, help bath him, and gives him plenty of kisses. I love her so much and am so proud of her. I never feel nervous leaving her alone in the room with him. So thank you MaeLyn!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Halloween night was so much fun. MaeLyn was Minnie Mouse, and Beck was my little pumpkin only 6 days old. It was so exciting to take MaeLyn now that she is old enough to understand the concept of trick or treating. The night after she went and grabbed her bucket thinking it was time to go trick or treating again.

The Long Awaited Arrival

Beck Nathan Haslam arrived on October 25,, 2007 at 5:19AM. He weighed 8lbs 1oz. & was 21 inches long. The delivery went well, after I got the epidural. I only had to push for 15 min. Much better than the 1st. We love him so much and are blessed to have him as a part of our family.

I am so ready for him to come out. First, I thought I was going to have him on the 15th of October because he was breech. I was scheduled for a c-section then that morning after no food or liquid for hours I go into get an ultra sound to make sure he was still breech and he had flipped. Yes, it is a good thing but I was ready for him. I had the house cleaned, babysitters arranged, Nate had school and work taken care, meals were planned. Needless to say I am now a day passed my due date, but it feels like forever. I am only dialated to a 2! Now I will be enduced on Sunday if he hasn't come naturally by then. Am I ever going to get to see my baby!

This picture is a rare thing. We had our whole family here except for Mark who is serving a mission in Paris, France. He will not return until April 08'. Then who knows when the Stoker family will ever be complete upon his arrival.

We were given the opportunity to go to Lake Powell, the yearly Haslam tradition. Nate's whole family was able to attend. We had such a fun time riding wave runners, boating, fishing, card games, and talking around some crazy fires to polishing nails, making bracelets, getting sick with kids throwing up. At first I was nervous about going with MaeLyn, but she loved it. I tried the life jacket but that did more harm then good I thought. So we took it off and Nate or I was by her side at all times. She was so funny in the water she would walk into it even passed her mouth and want to go further. She just wasn't scared at all. We are thankful for the time we were able to spend with our family and for the many memories we took home with us. Thank you mom and dad for giving us the the time of our lives. We love you!!
